(Video) Hoodlums attack Atiku’s convoy in Borno, 74 people injured

Hoodlums suspected to be members of the All Progressives Congress have allegedly attacked supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubarkar, in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Atiku was on Wednesday in Maiduguri for the 2023 presidential campaign rally.

It was gathered that some PDP supporters were attacked by thugs on their way to the venue of the presidential rally fixed for Ramat Square.

The hoodlums threw stones and other dangerous objects at vehicles belonging to the opposition party members.

Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima, is from Borno State.

On October 17, suspected thugs also disrupted the campaign train of the PDP in Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.
