The minor fire that gutted a section of Dangote Refinery at its Effluent Treatment Plant has been contained.

It was earlier reported that fire gutted a section of the newly launched 650 million barrels per day Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals in Lagos.

However, according to a statement signed by Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina, the minor fire incident has been contained, with the Refinery currently operating and no recorded injury or body harm to all staff on duty
