A lecturer of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Mr. Chigozie Jude Odum of the Department of Archeology and Tourism has been suspended for impregnating four students within four years of being appointed as a lecturer.
The suspension was confirmed in a letter signed by the Deputy Registrar of the institution, Achiuwa. F. C (MRS) for the Registrar on the 15th of February 2025.
The statement instructed him to hand over any documents belonging to the University to the Head of the Department.
While the University management directed him to stay away from his duty post, it also directed the bursar to place him on half salary pending the determination of the allegation on him.
