Tribunal dismisses application for live broadcast

The Presidential Election Petition Court PEPC has dismissed the application for live broadcast of proceedings in Court of Appeal.

In its ruling on Monday, the court dismissed the application citing security concerns and the need to maintain order and decorum in the courtroom as the reasons for the dismissal of the application.

The application was made by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
