On Saturday, 2nd December, 2023 was very important day in my life. By the grace of God Almighty I became the first democratically elected president of our beloved Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District ( ISD) Lagos.
I wish to appreciate our amiable President of Akwa Ibom State Community, ( AKISCOM) Lagos, Prince Felix Udoh ably represented by Hon. Walter Adiaka (VP1) and Evangelist Odudu Arthur (Asst. General Secretary) that came to observe the election.
My sincere thanks also goes to the President General of Uyo Senatorial District ( USD) Lagos, Chief Matthew Udoeyop represented by Mrs Idongesit Stephen as well as President of Eket Senatorial District ( ESD) Lagos, Chief Maurice Ukpong. The Media and other independent observers too numerious to mention thier names. I owe you a debt of gratitude.
My special thanks also goes to they good people of Akwa Ibom State Community (AKISCOM) Lagos for their kind words and prayers.
I wish to appreciate the entire members of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District (ISD) Lagos for their abiding belief in me. I will be in tune with your aspirations, charge up your energies and harness your talents to deliver a district that we can be pround of.
I wish to specifically appreciate members of Interim Executives, expanded Excos and Presidents of the Ten (10) Local Governments Area of the District for all their support and encouragement.
My ultimate thanks goes to 2023 Election Committee let by Professor Samuel Ukit for their selfless service to the District.
I wish to thank my immediate Constituency, Ikot Ekpene/ Essien Udim/ Obot Akara Development Union (IKEDOA) Lagos for believing in me. I shall continue to join forces with other Leaders of thought and other progressive in my chosen role as a catalyst of economic, community development and political emancipation of our oppressed people.
I will not rest until we achieve the aims and objectives of building strong District and not strong individuals.
Vocal minorities will not take over the administration of our District for their selfish interest.
To my family, especially my amiable wife, Mrs Mary Usoro, my lovely children and my friends too numerous to mention thier names, my contemporaries and indeed everyone, i say thank you very much.
I will continue to execute the task of building a dynamic Senatorial District for the interest of our people in particular and our dear Akwa Ibom State in general respectively.
Kind regards.

Elder Samuel Usoro.
President- Elect,
Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Lagos.
