Nigerians on Twitter has called on former Vice President and presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to give up on his ambition and step down for Mr. Peter Obi who is the flagbearer of Labour Party.
This is coming as reactions to a tweet by the PDP candidate where he sought for the support of Nigerians.
Atiku had tweeted a video of his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State with the following words:
“Getting this country back on track will require all hands on deck. And I am excited to go on this journey with my Vice Presidential candidate, H.E Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, @IAOkowa. Let’s come together as ONE towards a brighter future for all and for Nigeria. -AA”
His tweet did not go down well tweeps on his timeline and they gave him the following feedback to express their distrust for him and his party:
