South East Governors Forum congratulates Otti, Nwifuru, hails Supreme Court verdict

The South East Governors Forum (SEGOF) under the able Chairmanship of Governor Hope Uzodinma is pleased to extend warmest congratulations to the Governors of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti and Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru on their recent landmark victory at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court ruling, delivered today 12th January, 2024 has affirmed the mandate bestowed upon Governor Alex Otti and Governor Francis Nwifuru by the electorate. This judicial validation is a testament to the confidence reposed in these leaders by the people of Abia and Ebonyi States.

Under the dynamic leadership of Governor Alex Otti, Abia State has witnessed commendable progress and development across various sectors. The Supreme Court’s endorsement reaffirms the public’s support for the Governor’s vision and commitment to the betterment of Abia State.

Similarly, the victory of Governor Francis Nwifuru at the Supreme Court is recognition of his visionary governance in Ebonyi State. His efforts to propel the state forward in terms of infrastructure, education, and socio-economic development have garnered significant approval from the citizens.

SEGOF therefore congratulates both Governors on their well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court. This legal triumph not only upholds the democratic process but also validates the confidence the people have placed in their leadership and judiciary. We anticipate that this judicial endorsement will serve as a catalyst for continued progress and prosperity in the South East.

In light of this momentous victory, SEGOF joins the citizens of Abia and Ebonyi States in celebrating this triumph. We look forward to witnessing the implementation of visionary policies and projects that will further elevate the living standards of the people and as a result catapult the entire South East geopolitical zone as the fastest developing region in Nigeria.
