Sex worker stabs colleague for refusing to give her cigarette

A sex worker was stabbed by a fellow pr0.stitute during a dispute over a cigarette in South Africa.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, February 22, 2025 in the the Verulam CBD, KwaZulu-Natal.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the Ndwedwe Taxi Rank on Ireland Street at approximately 22:29.
On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered a female lying on the ground bleeding from a penetrating wound to her neck.
She informed Reaction Officers that she is a s3x worker operating in the Central Business District.
She was approached by a female who is also a pr.0stitute and known to her.
The suspect requested a cigarette. Both woman began arguing after the victim denied her request.
The suspect thereafter produced a knife and st@bbed the victim in the neck before she fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim luckily survived.
