Troops Operation FANSAN YANMA in collaboration with the Operatives of the C-Watch security outfit have arrested a female suspect with three loaded magazines and military gear concealed in her bag in Malumfashi town, Katsina State.

The suspect was intercepted around 1:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, at a routine checkpoint while attempting to cross out of the town under suspicious circumstances.

Upon thorough search of her belongings, security personnel reportedly discovered a military uniform, trousers, a tactical jacket, communication devices (phones), and other security-related items, raising concerns of possible terrorist logistical activity.

A security source said the woman is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation, as investigations are ongoing to unravel her network and mission.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the suspect or any affiliations, but sources within the operation suggest she may be linked to a wider syndicate responsible for supplying arms and gear to terror groups operating in the region.
