As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Kano State Muslim faithful trooped out to various prayer grounds without observing social distancing or wearing face masks. Some worshippers also entered the prayer grounds without washing or sanitizing their hands. The population of Muslim faithfuls that appeared for prayers in the state was overwhelming despite warning from the Presidential Task Force on COVID -19 and the Sultan of Sokoto.
