Human rights lawyer Femi Falana says the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not recognize the newly sworn-in Sole Administrator for Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-ete Ibas (rtd.).
The senior advocate was a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Wednesday.
Falana also said Section 305 of the constitution does not empower President Bola Tinubu to suspend or remove a sitting governor as he did in the case of Siminalayi Fubara.
