(Photos) Peter Obi visits Nyesom Wike in Portharcourt, discuss Labour Party

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has visited Portharcourt to meet with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. Photos of his visit is currently trending on Twitter.

Wike who has been aggrieved after loosing out of the presidential bid in Peoples Democratic Party is rumoured to be eyeing Labour party. Mr Obi’s visit may not be uncconnected with popularity of Labour Party especially among young people in Nigeria who are willing and eager to vote for a credible candidate after eight traumatic years of APC administration.

A source disclosed that Governor Wike has made it clear to his close associates that he is leaving PDP because of the unfair treament meted out to him by the party leadership.

Wike was expected to emerge PDP presidential flagbearer or running mate but none of these positions favoured him. The popularity of Peter Obi has soared since he left PDP for Labour Party.
