Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi has congratulated the president-elect of Kenya, Mr William Ruto.
Mr Ruto who is the current Deputy president of Kenya had narrowly beat his rival, Raila Odinga, taking 50.49 per cent of the vote to win the keenly contested election.
In his congratulatory message, Peter Obi said the election was victory for democracy and the people of Kenya.
