Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi has saluted the doyen of accountancy in Nigeria, Mr Akintola Williams who turned 103 on Tuesday.

In a message sent through his Twitter handle, Obi described Pa Akintola Williams as “a seasoned administrator, successful entrepreneur, experienced corporate leader and a dedicated public servant whose enormous contributions to the economic development of Nigeria will be celebrated for years to come.”

For many decades, he was a seasoned administrator, successful entrepreneur, experienced corporate leader and a dedicated public servant whose enormous contributions to the economic development of Nigeria will be celebrated for years to come. I celebrate him today as a symbol of hard work and productivity, and as a role model to the youths in Nigeria and beyond. May he experience happiness, peace and good health for the rest of his days.
