We are using this medium to call on the leadership of the national working committee of the party, and the office of the Director-General presidential campaign organization of the party to kindly wadeiInto the series of financial recklessness that has befallen the just inaugurated national youth campaign council ..
It has come to our notice that the office of the national youth campaign council which was inaugurated few days ago has become a coven of corruption and personal financial aggrandizing scheme.
You will recall that the national youth campaign council made up of party faithfuls (198 youths) from the various regions of the country, whose aim is to further strengthen and compliment the effort of the Presidential campaign organizations to deliver the Atiku-Okowa victory mandate come 2023, was inaugurated on the 10th of November.
Upon enquiry, it was discovered that every member who participated in this inauguration were entitled to N200,00 each, however to the amazement of many, only few were disbursed while the rest is being withheld by the deputy national youth leader Elder Tim Osadolor.
What’s rather puzzling in this whole scenario is that he only deems it fit to release funds to participants when he is called out.
This is a reckless behavior capable of tarnishing the image of the party before the electorates, moreso can be used by the opposition to further scuttle the party’s chances in the forthcoming elections.
This behavior is very unacceptable and unfortunate for the office of the national youth campaign council of the party. Most of the female PDP members who came from Katsina and other northern states were left stranded because Osadolor refused to release their stipend.
The office of the national youth leader of the party should always exhibit excellence and exemplary traits not enmeshed in this corruption and reckless financial allegations.The office is established to defend the youths and protect their rights and privileges in PDP.
We therefore call on the leadership of the party to prevail on this matter and call the aforementioned people to order before it escalates beyond control to the detriment of the party.
