One dead as 40-feet containers fall on cars in Lagos (video)

Tragedy struck today at Cele bus top on the Oshodi Apapa expressway, Lagos, after a 40 feet container fell on three vehicles.

Driver of one of the vehicles: a commercial bus killed while passengers in the bus and those in the two other vehicles managed to escape.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority while confirming the incident on Thursday afternoon said the accident happened at the main carriageway of PM gas station inward Cele express.

“It involved an upturned 40ft container on a commercial bus.

“Police officers from Ilasa division are on the ground doing the needful and also effort is on for recovery,” the agency wrote on its official Facebook page.
