Olu of Warri designate acquires Rolls Royce, Bentley ahead of coronation

Olu of Warri-designate, Omoba Tsola Emiko, has gifted himself two brand new customized luxury cars, a Rolls-Royce and Bentley 2021 model, ahead of his coronation as the Olu of Warri Kingdom on Saturday, August 21.

The customized Rolls-Royce will be used to usher in Emiko as the new king on Saturday, the day of his coronation while the Bentley will be used for the thanksgiving service on Sunday, August 22. The Olu-designate would ride from his seclusion (Idaniken), to Warri Club in the Rolls-Royce on the day of his Coronation.

On arrival at the Warri Club, he would walk into a waiting regatta boat and proceed to Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral abode of the Itsekiri people. Omoba Tsola Emiko who has been in Idaniken (seclusion) since April 5th is to be crowned on Saturday as the 21st Olu of Warri Kingdom.

About 1,000 police operatives have been deployed to ensure watertight security before, during, and after the coronation of Omoba Tsola Emiko as the 21st Olu of Warri, Kingdom.

Prince Emiko is a quintessential entrepreneur with something to offer his people and the entire country. His ascension to the throne signals the commencement of a new era of sustained prosperity, harmony and progress for the people of the Iwere Kingdom.

A Western-educated Masters degree holder, who majored in International Studies and Political Science at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S., he also received an M.Sc. in Management from the same university. However, his academic journey has its roots at the strict boarding school system of the Adesoye College Offa, Kwara State and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Primary School Warri, Delta State. 

Upon his return to Nigeria, Prince Emiko worked in several public and private sector enterprises. These include the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), Sahara Energy and Shell Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrator (SNCFPA).

An entrepreneur, Prince Emiko owns and operates Noble Energy Ltd and Corral Curators Ltd. He is also on the board of a number of companies, including Ocean Marine Security Ltd, Gulf of Guinea Ltd and Vessellink Nig. Ltd to mention a few.

A firm believer in the notion that the problems of youth unrest in the Niger Delta could be reduced significantly through an early foundation in STEM education furthered by dedicated access to skill acquisition in the technology, vocational and creative industries, it is hoped that Prince Emiko would translate his experience and worldview into long-lasting impact on the lives of his people when he mounts the throne of his ancestors.
