NYSC member stabbed to death in Abuja

A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, has been killed by unknown assailants.

It was gathered that Gideon Bitrus Gijuwa, was attacked and stabbed to death by the assailants at Mararaba, a border town between the FCT and Nasarawa State on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

According to reports, Gideon, a graduate of Geology of the Adamawa State University (ADSU) had gone to collect a waybill when the killers attacked him.

The 25-year-old Adamawa indigene was rushed to Mararaba Hospital, where he was confirmed death by doctors on duty.

Meanwhile, friends, colleagues and former course mates took to social media to mourn the deceased.
