The February 25, 2023 presidential election may have come and gone to many, it however has left a very bitter taste in the mouths of most Nigerians who came out in their large numbers to vote for what they believed was a better future only for the election results to be systemically manipulated in favour of the ruling party by the election umpire, INEC.

Amidst the economic hardship caused by Tinubu’s ill-timed and unfavourable policies, Nigerians decided at this time it was pertinent to identify the root cause of the problem and send a strong signal of discontentment by way of invoking metaphysical powers to punish the INEC chairman for his ‘evil’ orchestration.

INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu has been declared ‘an enemy of Nigeria’ & a ‘weapon fashioned against Nigeria’s prosperity’ and for this reason Nigerians dedicated today, February 25th 2024 to lay ‘curses’ on him, exactly a year after the 2023 presidential election that majority of Nigerians believe the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi won.

Below are some of the strong-worded curses rained on INEC Chairman by Nigerians on social media:

“”Mahmood Yakubu, As you denied Nigerians their choice on February 25, May Allah deny you Jannah. May sickness money can’t cure, visit you. May the calamity & hunger you foisted on Nigerians visit your entire family to the 7th generation, & remain permanently.”

“Woe to Mahmood Yakubu who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to Mahmood Yakubu! Disaster is upon you! You will be paid back for what your hands have done.”

“MAHMOOD YAKUBU, any nation that you have known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and of all your labors, including all the bribes, and you shall be crushed continually and you shall become a horror. You shall carry much seed into the field and shall gather in little.”

“Mahmood Yakubu, may your prayers become sin henceforth. May your days be few. May your children become vagabonds. May your iniquity be remembered upon them. As you do not delight in blessings, may it be far from you. May posterity cut you off and may your sin stand against you.”

“Mahmood Yakubu will die a painful death. He will get a disease that money can’t cure. His liver will fail him . His kidney will damage. All his generation down to the 10th generation will always have a kidney failure.”

“May the hardship that Mahmood Yakubu has forced on Nigerians reflect in his health. May his last days on earth be slow and painful.”

“Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC chairman for the 2023 General ELECTION, you will labour in vain, sickness will take away all your sweat before taking you The soil you walk has become a curse unto you and your lineage. The air you breathe has become a curse unto you and your lineage”

“Mahmood Yakubu! May the sun fight you by day. May the darkness of the night be against you. May your sleep be chaotic. May you wake up in sorrows. May your ears never stop hearing terrible news. May you live in loneliness. May help be against you.”
