Nigeria Obidient Women Forum unveiled in Abuja

The Nigeria Obidient Women Forum (NOWF) was unveiled to the media in Abuja today.

Convener and National Coordinator of the group, Gladys Ngozi Joseph in her address disclosed that NOWF was born out of the need to carry women along and not just reducing them to cheer leaders in politics.

She said women through NOWF will be empowered with acquisition skills and tools that will make them self reliant. According to her, this will enable women turn down politicians who will offer them greek gift during elections.

NOWF is also encouraging women to participate fully in elections by obtaining their permanent voters registration cards and vote for their preferred candidates.
