actress Shan George has weighed in on the ongoing online feud involving her colleague, Yvonne Jegede, and podcast host, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu.

Recall that Yvonne and Nedu had an online altercation after he reacted to her apology to May Edochie over a comment she made on The Honest Bunch podcast.

Following the OAP’s response, Yvonne took to Instagram to criticise him vehemently and hurl various insults at him.

In response, Shan George offered advice to both parties and the public, emphasising that Nedu was simply performing his job.

She also noted that, although Yvonne may have offended some with her opinions, she had apologized. However, as a guest on a show, she should have been more cautious about her words.

Her words:

“You see this Nedu and Yvonne Jegede matter; the truth is that you have a right to speak out and stand to be corrected and apologise when you offend, and that’s what Yvonne has done, and there is no need to escalate the issue. What Nedu has done is do his job.

“Nedu’s own way of asking a question is to make you speak out, so at the end of the day, he has not done anything wrong; it is your duty to get to that place and mind how you talk, but if you now go and over talk and your mouth drives rough like all of us, you apologise, and that’s simple.

“I don’t know why anyone is escalating this issue. Yvonne said what she said and apologized. As far as I’m concerned, her apology is enough.”
