Muslim pilgrims sponsored by OmoBarca to Hajj returns to Nigeria

The Muslim pilgrims from Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency who received sponsorship from Hon Francis Barthlomew Chima aka OmoBarca to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia are back to Nigeria after spending about a two months in the holy land.

This was disclosed by media aide to OmoBarca, Mr. Francis Solace Obinna in a press statement.

According to him, the pilgrims who by virtue of the visit to the holy land have been conferred with the Islamic title of Alhaji and Alhaja will be formally welcomed in a get-together by OmoBarca at a yet to be announced date.

The statement read:

“Automatically, the male pilgrims can now be officially addressed as ALHAJI, while the female pilgrims are now known to be ALHAJA.

A get together ceremony will take place later on where Hon. Ambassador Francis Barthlomew Chima will officially welcome the seventeen pilgrims back home after a successful pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Congratulations to our esteemed pilgrims and may God grant them the answers to all their prayers while in Mecca. AMEN!

We also thank God for a man like Hon. Amb. Francis Barthlomew Chima aka OmoBarca whom God is using to impact positively on the lives of the people and the society in general. May your days be filled with unending happiness sir.”

For over a decade, philanthropist, politician and Peoples Democratic Party candidate for House of Reps in Ajeromi Ifelodun federal constituency, Hon Francis Barthlomew Chima has been bankrolling the visit Muslim pilgrims to Mecca.

For the 2023 pilgrimage, 12 persons from Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency and another 5 persons from Kano State, making a total of 17 pilgrims enjoyed the sponsorship.
