Mother of late President Umar Yar’Adua, Hajiya Dada, dies in Katsina

Hajia Dada, the mother of a former president of Nigeria,  the late Umaru Musa Yar’adua, is dead.

According to reports, she died at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina on Monday evening September 2 after a brief illness.

Dada was also the mother of the late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army.

The burial arrangement will be announced later by the family.
