A resident of Jiwa community in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Ahmad Ismaila, has filed a civil case at the FCT Area Court sitting in Gwagwa town, against his former wife over the allegation of occupying his home despite being divorced two years ago.

The complainant told the court that the respondent, Saratu Sa’idu, mother of his seven children, constituted a ‘’nuisance” leading to misunderstanding between him and his present wives.

Responding, the accused told the court that she decided to remain in the home in order to look after their seven children, who are all teenagers.

The judge, Abubakar A. Usman, ordered the complainant to provide shelter for accommodating the respondent along with their seven children, as well as taking care of their needs.

He later adjourned the case to January 16, 2025, to enable the two parties to resolve the court order.
