LGA Chairman leads arrest of sex workers, alcohol and drug dealers in his community

The chairman of Damaturu local government area, Bukar Adamu, on Tuesday, September 14, led a team of security agents to raid the houses of prostitutes as well as dealers of alcoholic products in Keto Area of the local government area.

The security agents that accompanied the LGA boss comprised of officers of Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Immigration Services, Nigerian Army, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

They also apprehended drug dealers as well as drug addicts.

According to the LGA boss, the move is meant to decrease the rate of drug abuse in the LGA and to apprehend the dealers.
