It was a carnival event as the iconic Tafawa Balewa square was filled to capacity for the official defection of Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adeniran from All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
The governorship declaration of Adeniran also known as Jandor attracted all the governors of PDP and the entire party chieftain.
