Nyesom Wike

The governor of Rivers State, Mr Nyesom Wike has revealed that the IG of police called him on phone and instructed him to leave Edo state during the just concluded governorship election. Wike who is the chairman of the PDP campaign council made this known while responding to questions from Channels TV Sunrise Daily crew.

“The IG called me and said I must leave Edo state immediately. I told him I will not leave because governors of Kano and Imo states were in the Edo state. So why should he ask me to leave. I refused to leave because as a governor, I have the right to be anywhere I want.” Wike said.
