I support FG’s decision to implement Oronsaye report – Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, says being in opposition does not warrant blind and thoughtless criticisms.

He stated this on his X handle this morning while aligning with the Federal government’s decision to implement the Oronsaye report.

President Tinubu on Monday, February 26, ordered the full report of the implementation which has seen the scrapping, merging and submission of some agencies.

In the statement released on his X handle, Obi stated that during the 2023 campaign, he had mentioned that if elected he will implement the report as well. He also advised the Federal government to go a step further by cutting the cost of governance.
