Former APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole has addressed party supporters at his sprawling country home in Edo State. During the visit by APC supporters, Oshiomole seized the opportunity to sell Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the gubernatorial candidate in the forthcoming Edo State elections. The former Edo State governor made the following statement during the political visit.
“I made a mistake by supporting a man who has no vision for my people and judged a pastor who genuinely loves his people. I am just an ordinary human , so I apologize to Edo people for my mistake. I will correct that mistake by ensuring that Pastor Ize-Iyamu is elected governor of Edo State. Pastor Ize-Iyamu is not a stranger to Edo People. He led my campaign in 2012 and I won all 18 LGA’s in Edo State. So he is a son of the soil. We need a man that will make Edo to move forward not a man that is signing MOU every time. Just like our face masks are important, our PVC’s are important too. So go get your PVC and join me in making sure that On September 19th APC will reclaim Edo State.” Oshiomole told the cheering supporters.
