A video shared online shows Mr Akinyele singing alongside others on stage before beckoning to his wife, Mrs Catherine Akinyele. He whispered something to her then collapsed moments later.

According to reports, Mr Akinyele unveiled a brand-new Toyota Highlander he bought for his wife at the event just before he collapsed.
