The Forum of South-East Academic Doctors (FOSAD) congratulates Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu on his recent appointment as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex socio-cultural organization representing the interests of the Igbo people worldwide. This appointment is a testimony to his sterling leadership qualities, unwavering commitment to the Igbo cause, and his long-standing contributions to the socio-political and cultural development of the South-East region.

FOSAD describes Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu’s appointment as a triumph for the Igbo nation. The new President General’s rich history of community service, advocacy for equity and justice, and intellectual acumen make him an excellent choice for steering Ohanaeze Ndigbo at this critical juncture in the history of the Igbo people.

The Forum of South-East Academic Doctors has confidence in Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu’s capacity to unite Ndigbo, advance our collective aspirations, and strengthen the voice of the Igbo nation on the national and global stage. His record of exemplary service and strategic vision is precisely what Ohanaeze Ndigbo needs to address the challenges of our time.

The Forum commended the process leading to his emergence and emphasized the importance of unity among Ndigbo in supporting the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

“This is a time for all Igbo sons and daughters, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally behind our new President General as he embarks on this noble mission of service to our people,” the statement read.

FOSAD also pledged its unwavering support to the Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership, affirming its readiness to contribute intellectual resources and collaborative efforts toward the realization of the organization’s goals.

“As a body of academics, we are committed to working with Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu to champion research-driven advocacy, cultural preservation, and the socioeconomic development of the Igbo nation. We believe that his leadership will usher in a new era of progress, inclusivity, and dignity for Ndigbo. The Forum urged the new President General to prioritize critical issues such as youth empowerment, economic development, security, and the promotion of Igbo culture and heritage. It expressed optimism that his tenure will foster a more united and prosperous Igbo nation.

Once again, the Forum of South-East Academic Doctors congratulates Nze Fidelis Ozichukwu Chukwu and wishes him a successful and impactful tenure as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
