The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has temporarily suspended the collection of access gate fee at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
A statement by the management of FAAN on Saturday said the suspension followed the ongoing road construction at the airport.
The fee collection will resume on February 7, 2025.
“Following the ongoing road construction at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, we wish to notify the general public that collection of access gate fee has been suspended with effect from 24th January, 2025 to 7th February, 2025. Thank you for your usual patronage,” the statement said.
The access gate fee at the airport is paid by all motorists entering the airport environment through the access gate, either in cash or via ATM card using the POS terminal at the entry point.
