Okolie stated other offences which led to their dismissal to include  extortion, manipulation of results, keeping of two full-time jobs, involvement in the preparation of fake transcripts and misappropriation of fund in the tune of N98,259,314.65.

He further stated that the Governing Council of the University frowned at the increasing involvement of staff in fraudulent practices, adding that it has directed the Management of the University to take stern measures to reduce the vices to the barest minimum.

“Council frowned at the spate of examination malpractices and directed Management to apply appropriate sanctions to concerned students, including their collaborators accordingly.
