Former Governor Ayodele Fayose’s preferred aspirant, Bisi Kolawole, on Wednesday, won Peoples Democratic Party’s primary election for the June 18 governorship poll in Ekiti State.

Earlier, Senator Biodun Olujimi pulled out of the governorship primary held in Ado-Ekiti.

The result of the election was announced by the Chairman, PDP Primary Election Committee for Ekiti State, and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.

Kemi Ojo – 1
Makanjuola – 1
Deborah Ali – 1

Void Vote – 13
