Economic hardship: Man attempts suicide on Ajah bridge (video)

An unidentified young man has attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself on Ajah pedestrian bridge in Lagos.

The man who is said to be facing severe economic hardship tied a rope on his neck and tried to jump from the bridge.

However, passersby prevented him from dying. They called for help in the trending video and managed to cut off the rope to save his life.
