A Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos has declared Hon Francis Barthlomew Chima aka OmoBarca the authentic House of Representative candidate for Peoples Democratic Party in Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the forthcoming general election.
OmoBarca initially won the primaries conducted by PDP in 2022 and was issued a Certificate of Return duly signed by the National Chairman of the party Dr Iyorchia Ayu. However, he was dragged to court by his closest rival, Rita Orji and Mr. Wilson Diriwari who rejected the result of the primaries.
Speaking after the judgment was delivered, OmoBarca expressed gratitude to God and the good people of his constituency for standing with him through the trial period.
