Amaju Pinnick calls out Davido for refusing to perform in Warri after being paid $94,600 (video)

Former NFF Chairman, Amaju Pinnick has called out Davido for allegedly refusing to perform at the 19th edition of Warri Again despite getting paid an excess of $94,600.

The former NFF chairman also revealed that they booked a private jet for $18,000 for Davido to perform at the event in Warri, Delta State, but he didn’t show up. Amaju went on to compare the singer to Burna Boy who he described as the biggest Nigerian superstar.

According to the sports executive, Davido shouldn’t feel he’s “big” as Delta state has also contributed to the entertainment sector in Nigeria. He noted that Burna Boy is partly from Itsekiri in Delta State. He also pointed out that actor Richard Mofe-Damijo and comedian Alibaba are all from Delta state too.

‘Nobody can stop me performing anywhere’ , Davido replies Pinnick over ‘no show’ allegation

However, the Afrobeats star in what looked like a response posted on X on Saturday, bragged that nobody could stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria, assuring his fans in Warri that he would be in their city soon.

“Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon,” he wrote.

He also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption; “Make I no talk.”
