Advice to users of vehicles with tinted glasses in Anambra State

  1. All Anambra people as well as travellers passing through our state are reminded that the use of vehicles with tinted glasses is prohibited except those permitted by law enforcement agents. Those using such vehicles are required to wind down all their glasses at each security checkpoint so that security officers on duty can see the persons in the vehicles very well.
  2. It is necessary to wind down all glasses because almost all the attacks in recent times on security officers discharging their legitimate duties in Anambra State have been carried out by criminals in vehicles with darkened glasses. The glasses help to hide criminals, their weapons and ammunition.
  3. In the same manner, motorists travelling at night are advised to put on all their inner lights once they approach a checkpoint. Law-abiding citizens should not hesitate to comply with this simple requirement which aids law enforcement agents in the discharge of their responsibility to society.
  4. The Anambra State Government is determined to make Anambra remain the safest and most peaceful state in the country. Our safe environment has enabled an impressive investment flow in our state in the last seven years. The State Government will, therefore, continue to take every step to protect all our people and make life more abundant for them.

God bless Anambra State, the Light of the Nation.
