The Labour Party National Executive Committee, NEC, has called on all members to abide by the constitution of the party.

This is contained in a Communique read by the Party’s National Secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouk, at the end of a National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting held at the party’s National Secretariat, In Abuja.

Alhaji Farouk noted that no member of the party has the right to call for unauthorized stakeholders meeting, thereby usurping the powers of NEC.

According to the National Secretary of the party, the NEC also assured all Nigerians of good governance, if given the opportunity and mandate, by Nigerians.

“We therefore assure all Nigerians of a political party that is different, with internal party democracy.
