Activist and publisher of Saharareporters.com, Omoyele Sowore has been beaten up and arrested by officials of DSS.
Sowore had gone to cover and monitor Nnamdi Kanu’s trial at the Federal High Court Abuja when the incident took place.
His lawyer, Inibehe Effiong who announced the development on Facebook alleged that he was picked by the DSS and Nigeria Police officers.
โHe was far away from the entrance of the Federal High Court in Abuja where he went to cover and monitor the trial of Nnamdi Kanu. They also seized his camera.
โNigeria is under a full dictatorship. Buhari has murdered democracy. We demand his immediate release. It is not a crime for a citizen and a reporter to stand in a public place.โ
