The Amuwo Decides 2023 Forum has endorsed Mr. Victor Thomas Onwubiko, candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for Amuwo Odofin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, ahead of the 2027 general election.
The endorsement was made when Onwubiko paid a consultative visit to the forum, where he was received by the Convener, Mr. Ndubuisi Okafor, alongside other community leaders and stakeholders in the Amuwo Odofin area.
During the meeting, the community leaders listened to the candidate as he discussed his political aspirations, his understanding of the challenges confronting residents and his vision for effective representation of the constituency if elected in 2027.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for Onwubiko to interact directly with community stakeholders and seek their counsel on issues affecting the people of Amuwo Odofin Constituency II.

The forum also highlighted concerns including infrastructure, environmental challenges, flooding, tank farms, container terminals, traffic and the general development of Amuwo Odofin.
The latest consultative meeting with Onwubiko therefore provided another opportunity for community stakeholders to engage directly with a prospective representative ahead of the 2027 elections.
Onwubiko, while presenting himself to the community leaders, sought their support and guidance as he prepares for the contest on the NDC platform. The visit was also presented as part of his broader consultations with residents, community leaders and stakeholders across the constituency.
The community leaders, in turn, offered prayers for the candidate and wished him success in the forthcoming election.
