A new campaign poster promoting Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, popularly known as OmoBarca, has emerged as part of the political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Lagos State.
Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), features a supporter holding a placard with the messages “AJIF!!! AJIF!!!” and “VOTE OMOBARCA 4 REPS”, alongside a call for support for the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat in 2027.
The campaign material also prominently displays OmoBarca’s portrait on the supporter’s branded T-shirt, while the NDC logo is positioned as a major element of the design. A megaphone is also featured, symbolising grassroots mobilisation and outreach.
OmoBarca is the NDC candidate for the Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency. His campaign has positioned him as a grassroots-focused candidate with emphasis on community development, youth empowerment, education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
The candidate’s campaign profile states that he has maintained philanthropic and community-oriented activities in Ajeromi-Ifelodun for more than two decades, including scholarships, business support and youth empowerment initiatives.
His emergence under the NDC followed political developments within the constituency in May 2026, including the withdrawal of another aspirant, Hon. Oladele Egbayelo, who stepped down in favour of OmoBarca ahead of the party’s primary.
The latest poster adds another layer to the campaign’s visual communication strategy, using bold colours, the NDC identity and direct constituency-focused messaging to draw attention to OmoBarca’s 2027 ambition.
As political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, campaign teams and political parties are expected to increase their engagement with voters across Ajeromi-Ifelodun and other constituencies.
