Pastor Korede Komaiya, has generated widespread reactions online after declaring during a sermon that he possesses a unique spiritual capacity to raise billionaires through covenant giving.
Addressing his congregation, the cleric criticized people who rely on online content that questions pastors and church teachings on giving, arguing that such individuals misunderstand what he described as “kingdom economy.”
Highlighting his spiritual mandate, he stated, “I am among the few pastors on earth with the oil of raising billionaires.” He went on to stress that becoming a covenant practitioner requires consistent financial giving, warning, “If you don’t move to be a covenant practitioner, begging will be unlimited.”
According to him, the manner and consistency of giving reveal a believer’s devotion to God, adding, “It is the amount you give, how you give it, when you give it… the consistency that demonstrates your heart for God.”
The pastor further emphasized that generosity reflects one’s love for God, saying, “Giving is one of the authentic ways you demonstrate your love for God. So your giving measures your love for God.”
He also linked financial stagnation to a lack of faithfulness in giving, stating, “Financial unfaithfulness is the reason for lack in the life of a lot of people.”
