The Labour Party deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State, Princess Islamiyat Oyefusi, has reacted to a trending photo of a lady smoking shisha in a club.
The shisha smoker has been insinuated on social media to be Oyefusi, the running mate to Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (Labour Party governorship candidate) who hails from a royal family in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
In a swift reaction to the shisha photo that trended on Twitter, Oyefusi refuted the claim that identifies her as a smoker and blamed the false accusation as the handiwork of the opposition political party.
She wrote:
“Obident don’t do propaganda, we talk to real issues that affects the people. It will not win you election. This is not me, so I will never stoop low to your gutters or dignify you with a reply. ori Ade ko kin Jagun bi eru. Meaning the crown never fights like slaves.”
