PDP Primaries: Hon Rita’s CSO arrested with a pistol at Ajegunle (video)

The ongoing Peoples Democratic Party primaries for House of Representatives at Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency of Lagos State has just witnessed some security lapses.

A 31-year-old man from Edo State, Mr Philip Ehis was arrested by the police for unlawful possession of a pistol at Umuoji hall Olodi Apapa Ajegunle, venue of PDP primaries while his accomplice escaped.

Ehis is said to be the Chief Security Officer of one of the contestants for House of Representatives, Hon Rita Orji. Our correspndent gathered that the incident was an attempt on the life of Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima a.k.a OmoBarca who is also a popular House of Representatives aspirant in the area.

The Area B police division has detained Ehis for further investigation.
