Late Funsho Willians, a governorship aspirant in Lagos State who was brutally murdered in his Ikoyi Dolphin Estate home on 27th July, 2006 is currently trending on microblogging site ,Twitter.
The Nigerian community on Twitter are worried after posters depicting Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as Judas who betrayed his master surfaced on the streets of Abuja. It is believed that the posters is the handiwork of the thugs of a certain APC political godfather which may constitute a threat to the Vice President’s life.
Recall that Osinbajo recently declared to run for the office of the president on social media, thereby challenging his godfather who had earlier joined the presidential race under the same party platform.
There were insinuations on Twitter that what befell Funsho Williams popularly known as Captain may happen to Osinbajo via his political godfather.
Therefore, alarm has been raised to warn the political godfather to ensure that the Vice President does not suffer the same fate. In a series of tweets, Nigerians raised concerns about Osinbajo’s life and his safety going by the gruesome murder of the governorship aspirant who challenged the same political godfather in Lagos State in 2006.
