Activist and presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore has criticized the Department of State Service (DSS) for falsely accusing the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) of planning to bomb MKO Abiola Stadium during the just concluded match between Nigeria and Ghana.
DSS had written to Buhari warning him not to attend the event owing to intelligence reports that IPOB had planned to bomb the stadium during the football match.
Sowore took to his Facebook page to condemn the DSS fictitious intelligence report. He wondered why the DSS could not intervene in the Abuja-Kaduna train terrorist attack.
He wrote:
“Muhammadu Buhari hatred for a section of Nigeria, the “5%” that didn’t vote for him in the SouthEast is abhorrently unconscionable. lawless DSS wrote this memo to ask the mannequin to not attend the Nigeria/Ghana match falsely claiming IPOB was planning to bomb the stadium.
Interestingly, DSS had no such fore knowledge of terrorists/bandits attacking train tracks and train station between Kaduna and Abuja over two days, but they managed to warn Buhari of a non-existent planned attack by IPOB!”
