50 Cents announces plan to release TV series on Nigerian yahoo criminal Hushpuppi

American rapper Curtis Jackson, populary known as 50 Cent has hinted on plans to produce a series about Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi

The rapper made this known on his Instagram page on Wednesday.

50 Cent shared a photo of Hushpuppi with the caption, ” For my scammers I gotta do this one, Hushpuppi series coming soon!”

Hushpuppi, a notorious fraudster whose real name is Ramon Abass was recently sentenced to 135 months (11 years).

He was ordered to payback $1,732,841 in restitution to two of his fraud victims. During 18 months they believed he scammed for $300M. He was found with over $26M CASH when arrested.

Hushpuppi, real name Ramon Abass, was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in June 2020.

He was accused of defrauding over 1.9 million people, the majority of whom were Americans.

He was afterward extradited to the United States for trial on July 3, the same year.

During the trial, the 37 years old pleaded guilty to all the charges filed against him.

A United States District Court sitting in the Central District of California on Monday sentenced him to 11 years and three months after he was found guilty of laundering proceeds of a school financing scam, business email compromise, and other fraudulent cyber schemes.

Sharing pictures of the convict, 50 Cent stated that he was working on a movie project based on Hushpuppi’s story.

Some Nigerians however are not excited about the project because of the further damage it will cause the country.
