Orji Uzor Kalu, Uche Ogar, other prominent Nigerians attend Pa Ubani’s burial ceremony in Abia

The Chairman of Section on Public Interest and Development Law, NBA, SPIDEL, Dr Monday Ubani recently buried his father, Pa Egbedubi Ubani who died at the ripe age of 102 in Umusoko, Awomukwu Ikwuano Abia State.

The funeral event attracted a list of prominent Nigerian who came to pay their last respect to the deceased. President Buhari has early sent his condolence to the Ubani family on the passing of their patriach.

In attendance at the three day event include Former Abia State governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uche Ogar,  former Supritendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Chidi Okoroafor, Justice Inyang Okoro of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Chief Jugde of Abia State, Justice Onuoha Ogwe, Speaker Abia State House of Assembly. Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji etc.

others include, Commissioner for Justice, Abia state, Mr Uche Ihediwa, Former Minister of State for Defence, Col. Austin Akobundu Rtd; Rear Admiral Ralph Osondu Rtd, Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency at the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi, Ikwuano LGA Chairman, Chief Stephen Mpamugo, HRM Eze Dr. Ndimele, Chairman Ikwuano Traditional Rulers Council, Chief Henry Ikoh, Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, Hon Acho Obioma,

Dr. Ubani in his speech expressed gratitutde to everyone who contributed in one way or the order to the success of the burial of his late father. He noted that his father was influenced his life and career to a large extent. Ubani in his word of advice enjoined parents to live an examplary life while bearing in mind that young people will always want to do what they see their parents do.
He stressed the need for parents to raise their children in the fear of God. Adding that this can help in curtailing the get-rich-quick syndrome that has ravaged the society.
