Gunmen kill 20 in Kaduna community

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Sunday night invaded Kukum Daji in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing more than twenty residents of the area.

Our correspondent gathered that many of the residents also sustained varying degrees of injuries arising from the shooting. The incident happened around 11pm on Sunday.

A resident of the area disclosed that the attackers were dressed in military uniform and were armed with AK47 rifles, machetes and sticks and were communicating with one another in Fulani language.
